Continuing on the bike-packing theme, I saw this tiny frying pan in IKEA and thought it would be perfect for a quick fry-up on the hills (as you do..).
It was only a few quid so worth a punt!
The issue was that the handle was both large (it's all relative) and possibly unnecessary. Thus, the opportunity to remove it was born...

In all honesty it's a very straightforward job, but hey ho here we go...
Firstly you flip the (cool, empty) pan over and identify the 'indent' thingy that holds the handle in place:

Then you drill out either side:
Then you pull out the handle...!
It's not the hardest thing I've made, clearly, but it does mean the pan and cooking gubbings will fit much more easily in my frame bag now. I'm just waiting on the Alpkit MyTiMug (Spoiler alert - Mum and Dad have got me it for christmas...) and I can get going on my "posh bivvy brunch/great bivvy bake off" recipe book..
